Collection: Dark Roast

Dark roasted coffee beans are a very dark brown almost black in color and have a oily surface. Dark roasted beans are heated to 430-450 degrees and contain a low acidity, heavy body, and overall bolder and deeper flavor. These beans are not as diverse in terms as flavor and are more uniform with very slight  tones of chocolate, caramel,smokier and nutty flavors. Due to the higher temperature process, Dark Roast beans contain the lowest acidity.
